The ISC Parent Association exists to strengthen the partnership between parents, the Parent Representatives and the school. Our mission is to foster an engaged, supportive and connected community where every family feels welcomed, informed and empowered to contribute to the life of ISC.
Our role extends well beyond organising events. We provide opportunities for parents to connect, share ideas and contribute to the school community in ways that suit their interests and availability. By fostering positive relationships between parents, Parent Representatives and the school, we help enhance the overall experience of every ISC family.
Throughout the year, the Parent Council helps facilitate community initiatives — from Welcoming New Parents and The Coffee Connection to family events and social gatherings that bring new and existing families together. We also support Parent Representatives by sharing information, encouraging collaboration and helping create connections across the school community.

Two ways to make a difference
Every family can support the Association by becoming a member — and for those who'd like to do a little more, you can step up as a Parent Representative for your child's class.
Become a member
The simplest way every ISC family can get involved — your annual membership is what keeps the Parent Association running.
Please use your surname and your child's class(es) as the payment reference (e.g. Meyer – PYP3) so the treasurer can match your payment.
Donations are also warmly welcome — any amount above the €20 membership helps us do more for ISC families.
You can also email your proof of payment to parent-association@isc.ac.at.

Become an ISC Parent Representative
Being a Parent Representative is a simple, rewarding way to stay connected with your child's class and support communication between parents and the school. We're looking for enthusiastic parents across our PYP, MYP and DP programmes for the 2026–2027 school year — no previous experience needed, and it won't mean a major workload.

What does a Parent Representative do?
The role is flexible, but typically includes:
The role is not about solving problems or representing individual concerns. Where questions or issues arise, the Parent Representative helps make sure they reach the right person or channel.
You won't be doing it alone
The ISC Parent Council is there to support you — offering guidance, sharing information, answering questions about the role and helping with communication to the school.
During the year we also bring all Parent Representatives together for three informal meetings — a chance to:

Wellbeing & support
Every child deserves to feel safe and supported. If something is worrying you or your child — bullying, exclusion, or anything affecting a student's wellbeing — there is help available. Below are trusted places to turn to, at school and beyond.
ISC has a social worker who visits weekly and is there to support students. Your child's teacher or a Parent Representative can also help point you to the right person.
